The passport, explained
Everything you need to know before you own one: what it is, what it costs, what it does, and what happens to it afterwards. If a question is not answered here, it belongs here — tell us and we will add it.
What it is
An on-chain passport. A travel document for one country, drawn by hand in pixel art, one square per country, held in your Solana wallet.
It is not a static picture. It analyses your wallet on its own — how long you have been on chain, how far you have moved, what you keep — and stamps what it finds. You do not fill anything in and you do not claim anything. Two passports of the same country in two different wallets are two different documents.
The country, the stamps and the counters are written into the asset itself, on chain. Nothing about your passport lives in a database that could be edited quietly.
In the real world you do not choose your passport. Here you do — and you can change it whenever you like.
Getting one
Pick a country, approve one transaction, and the passport is yours.

You do not need to hold the token first. Pay in SOL and the mint acquires the token and burns it for you, inside the same transaction. If any part of it fails, nothing happens at all — no passport, no burn, no charge.
Stamps
Eleven stamps. They cost nothing, you do not claim them, and they appear on their own. Each one reads the wallet that holds the passport.

Stamps are not permanent trophies. They describe the wallet as it is, so a passport that changes hands describes its new owner. Your passport is a mirror, not a medal.

Changing country
Hold a passport and you can move it to any other country, at any time, by burning again. Your stamps come with you. The history belongs to the wallet; the nationality is a choice you can revisit.
Nothing new is created when you move. The number of passports in the world stays exactly the same — what changes is where people live. Every country carries a live population that climbs and falls, and a country left with no citizens closes until someone lands there.
What the token is for
The token has one job: it is the only way a passport comes into existence. You cannot buy one with cash, you cannot be put on a list, and you cannot be given one out of a reserve. Every passport that exists cost somebody a burn.

That is the whole design, and it is deliberate. Supply falls every time somebody wants something, and it falls again every time they change their mind.
The pot
Every surcharge lands in one account. The whole pot goes back to passport holders. It is not kept, not locked away and not spent elsewhere.
The account is public and readable on chain, so the amount in it never depends on anyone's word. The burned token is a separate matter: it is destroyed rather than collected, which means total supply is permanently smaller after every mint and every move.

The world has around 195 countries and the collection does not cover all of them yet. Countries open over time; each one that opens brings its own editions and its own art. The cap for a country never rises once it is open.
Owning and selling
A passport is an ordinary Solana NFT. It sits in your wallet, you can send it to someone else, and you can list it on any marketplace that supports the collection.
Selling transfers everything the document is — its country, its number, and whatever it is owed. The new owner's wallet is what the stamps will read from then on.
Under the hood

Questions
Do I need the token before I can mint?
No. Pay in SOL and the mint handles the token and the burn for you.
What happens to the tokens I burn?
They are destroyed. Nobody receives them, and the supply never recovers them.
Can I own more than one passport?
Yes, of the same country or of different ones. Each is its own document.
If I change country, do I lose my stamps?
No. Stamps follow the wallet, not the flag.
Do I have to do anything to earn a stamp?
Nothing beyond using your wallet. There is no button, no claim and no deadline.
What if my wallet is very old and very busy?
Beyond a few thousand transactions, a public node stops handing back the full history and the exact age cannot be established. When that happens the document says so rather than guessing a date.
Where can I sell it?
Any Solana marketplace that lists the collection, once the collection is live.
Will more countries open?
Yes. The world is not finished, and neither is the collection.
Is this an investment?
No. A passport is a collectible document. It is not a security, not a fund, not a share of anything, and it carries no promise of profit.
What wallet do I need?
Any Solana wallet — Phantom, Solflare, Backpack and the rest all work.
When does the mint open?
No date yet. When it does, it will be announced on the front page and the addresses below will stop reading not deployed.
Status and addresses
Nothing is live. No token has launched, no contract is deployed, and nothing on this site can be bought today. The table below is read from the protocol file: an address that does not exist yet says so, because a plausible-looking placeholder is something you could paste into a wallet by mistake.
