Terms of use
What this site is. passport-spl.art describes and gives access to Passport SPL, a collection of digital collectibles (Metaplex Core NFTs) on the Solana blockchain, and to the program that issues them. The site itself holds no funds and signs nothing on your behalf: every transaction is built in your browser and approved in your own wallet.
What a passport is — and is not. A passport is a collectible document. It is not a security, a share, a fund unit, a deposit or a claim on anyone. Any SOL the program routes to holders comes from activity that may or may not happen; it is not interest, not a dividend and not promised.
Your responsibilities. You are responsible for your wallet, your keys, your seed phrase and every transaction you approve. Blockchain transactions are final: a burn cannot be undone and a transfer cannot be recalled. You must be of legal age where you live, and you must not use the site if the law that applies to you forbids it, including sanctions law.
No advice. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Do your own research and never spend more than you can afford to lose.
Availability. The site, its API and its figures are provided as they are, without warranty. They can be slow, wrong for a moment, or offline. The chain is the reference: when a page and the chain disagree, the chain is right.
Intellectual property. The artwork, the passport designs and the site are the operator's work. Country names, flags and public emblems belong to no one. Third-party names and marks (Solana, Metaplex, pump.fun, Jupiter, Magic Eden and others) belong to their owners; using their networks does not mean they endorse this project.
Risks
- Volatility. The token trades on a bonding curve and then on open markets. Its price can fall to zero, and so can the price of a passport.
- Irreversible burns. Minting and emigrating destroy tokens for good. They are not refunded if the collection, the token or the site stops.
- Program risk. The program is new software. Tests and reviews reduce the risk of a bug; they do not remove it. Its upgrade authority is shown on the Proof page — while it exists, the program can be changed.
- No guaranteed flow. The holders pot only fills when people mint, move, trade or resell. Without activity there is nothing to split.
- Network and wallet risk. Solana, RPC providers, marketplaces and wallets can be congested or down. Fake tokens and fake sites copy every launch: the only valid addresses are the ones on the Proof page.
- Rules can change. The legal treatment of tokens and NFTs differs by country and keeps moving. Taxes on what you buy, sell or receive are yours to declare.
Privacy
We keep as little as the site needs to work, and we sell nothing.
| What | Why, and for how long |
|---|---|
| Wallet addresses you submit | To build the whitelist and read your stamps. A wallet address is public on the blockchain already. Kept until the mint is over, then only the frozen list whose fingerprint is on chain. |
| A salted hash of your IP | Stored next to a whitelist entry to stop wallet farming. It cannot be turned back into your IP without the server's secret salt. |
| Server logs | IP address, page, time and browser, for security and to count visits. They rotate automatically and are overwritten within weeks. |
| Your browser | A few preferences (a remembered address, a dismissed banner) stay in your own browser storage and never reach us. |
No advertising tracker, no analytics cookie. The pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it serves them. You can ask for a copy or the deletion of what we hold about you at the contact address above; data already written on a public blockchain cannot be deleted by anyone.
Contact
Questions, security reports and legal requests: the contact address will be published here. Public announcements are made only on @PassportSPL and this site. We will never message you first to ask for a seed phrase or a signature.
