The story

In the real world, you do not choose your passport.

Here, you choose.

The office

Passport SPL is a passport office on Solana.

It issues one passport per country, twenty-five editions each, 4,875 in all, and it never issues more. Every passport is a pixel-art booklet drawn for its country, and every one is a real document: its country, its edition, its serial and its stamps are written on chain.

Naturalisation

You do not buy a passport. You are naturalised.

You burn the token, you pay the office, and the office keeps nothing for itself: the program splits every surcharge in the same transaction. Most of it goes to the citizens who already hold a passport. The rest goes to a buy-back reserve held by the program, or stays with the country you chose.

Visas

A passport is worth what it has seen.

Yours reads the wallet that holds it. Every Solana protocol that wallet has really used, proven by a transaction it signed, becomes a visa: Jupiter, Raydium, pump.fun, Magic Eden, Orca, Meteora, Tensor… No transaction, no visa. Nothing is declared, everything is proven.

Emigration

Borders move. So can you.

A passport can emigrate to another country. It burns again, it keeps every stamp, and what it gave to its old country's treasury follows it to the new one.

Citizenship

Hold one country and you are a citizen.

Hold several and you climb the diplomatic ladder: dual national, diplomat, ambassador, envoy. Every citizen has a public file, a share card, a rank, and a seat in the country's room.

The rules

  1. 1195 countries, 25 passports each. The cap never rises.
  2. 2No withdrawal instruction exists. The pot only pays holders.
  3. 3After the first passport, prices and burns can only go down: the program refuses anything else.
  4. 4Every address, every balance and every split is on passport-spl.art/proof.

A passport is a collectible. It is not a promise of anything but itself.
